Anura Kumara Dissanayake has taken oath as Sri Lanka’s new President.

In his address after taking the oath, President Dissanayake vowed to work tirelessly to fulfill the hopes and aspirations of the Sri Lankan people and earn their trust and confidence.

55-year-old Anura Kumara Dissanayake won the presidential election with 42.31 percent of the votes.
