President Dr Arif Alvi has underlined the need to foster linkages amongst academia, industry and market for promoting cultural and traditional brands of Pakistan at local and International levels.

Presiding over a meeting on promotion of Pakistani brands in Karachi, he said Pakistan has a rich culture and civilization which may be source of huge attraction for foreign investment if properly promoted.

The President directed to document the local crafts by making an authentic comprehensive directory and display centres at big cities of the country.
