Ministry of Climate Change and the Islamic World Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization have agreed to jointly hold a conference on climate education with special focus on girls' education. 

The theme of the event is "National Climate Educational Framework for Girls in the Islamic World.

The decision was made during a meeting between the Coordinator to the Prime Minister on Climate Change, Romina Khurshid Alam, and the head of ICESCO, Dr Haddy Jatou Sey in Islamabad on Friday.

Romina Khurshid Alam emphasized the country's ongoing efforts to adapt to the changing climate, including collaboration with ICESCO.

Dr Haddy Jatou Sey reiterated ICESCO's dedication to supporting climate education and contribute to empowering girls through green education.
