The European Union has called for an end to the fighting in Gaza.

European Union foreign policy Chief Kaja Kallas during a press conference with Egyptian Foreign Minister Badr Abdelatty in Cairo strongly opposed Israel's resumption of hostilities, which caused huge loss of life in Gaza.
