The United States is holding separate talks with Russia and Ukraine in Saudi Arabia today for an immediate partial ceasefire.

Russia and Ukraine both agreed past week to halt strikes on energy infrastructure temporarily.

The talks being held in Riyadh are expected to focus on hammering out safety for shipping in the Black Sea.

The agenda includes proposals to protect energy facilities and critical infrastructure.
