Chief Executive Officer Fatima Group Fawad Ahmed Mukhtar called on Provincial Minister for Industries, Trade and Investment Mian Aslam Iqbal in Lahore on Wednesday.

During the meeting, the CEO expressed his interest for investment in cement industry, coal mining and energy sectors.

He said that Fatima Group wants to set up cement and energy plants in the province.

Speaking on the occasion, the Minister said that promotion of industries and investment is the top priority of the present government as every possible facility is being provided to the investors under one roof.

Mian Aslam Iqbal said that it is necessary to promote industry for creating employment opportunities as industries augments economic, trade and social activities.

He said that speedy steps will be taken for the establishment of special economic zones.
