The Embassy of Pakistan in Washington, D.C. organized an impressive exhibition based on Pakistani arts, crafts, and literary series, showcasing the exquisite art of Islamic calligraphy
The event marked the opening of this cultural series, with renowned calligrapher Ayesha Kamal as the featured artist.
The exhibition witnessed participation from diplomats, U.S. government officials, cultural enthusiasts, media representatives, and members of the Pakistani-American community.
Pakistan’s Ambassador to the U.S., Rizwan Saeed Sheikh, warmly welcomed the guests and praised the artist’s talent.
Speaking on the occasion, the Ambassador emphasized the importance of preserving and promoting Islamic art and culture. He also acknowledged the pivotal role played by Pakistani calligraphers in advancing the art, including legendary figures like Sadequain and Ustaad Allah Bakhsh.
