In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, Indian troops in their fresh act of state terrorism martyred one Kashmiri youth in Islamabad district, on Friday.
According to Kashmir Media Service the occupation authorities suspended the internet and mobile services in the area.
The occupation authorities did not allow the people to offer Juma prayers, on Friday, at historic Jamia Masjid in Srinagar for the 20th consecutive week. The Anjuman Auqaf of the Jamia Masjid, in a statement, termed the authorities’ action as sheer interference in the religious affairs of the Muslims.
Meanwhile, the All Parties Hurriyat Conference spokesman, in a statement issued in Srinagar, hailed the British parliamentarians for expressing alarm over the human rights violations including fake encounters by Indian troops in IIOJK.
Peoples Democratic Party President, Mehbooba Mufti, addressing a gathering in RS Pura area of Jammu region said Narendra Modi-led Indian government was resorting to arm-twisting measures with heavy military presence on the ground, denying fundamental rights to people and enforcing the Hindutva ideology in the occupied territory.
On the other hand, the UN human rights experts in a statement issued in Geneva have called upon the Indian authorities to release the noted Kashmiri human rights defender, Khurram Parvez.
In India, a Hindu mob severely beat up a Muslim youth, Khustar Ansari, after hanging him upside down from a tree in Palamu district of Jharkhand state. Indian civil society activists have expressed outrage over the inflammatory speeches of Hindutva members, who called for genocide of Muslims at an event in the Haridwar city of the Indian state of Uttarakhand. They called for immediate action against the Hindutva hate mongers.
