In Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK), massive protest was held against Reservation Policy of the puppet BJP government in Srinagar.
During the protest, the protestors gathered outside Omar Abdullah's residence as he is facing stiff resistance from his party members.
The protestors said that the National Conference had pledged to change the reservation policy in its election manifesto, but it remained a claim.
They said sixty-nine percent of population in Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir belongs to common class, but their rights are being usurped.
Under the policy of Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha, the reservation of tribal category was increased by 20% while the reservation of general category was decreased.
This year, the Bharatiya Janata Party's Governor Manoj Sinha amended the Reservation Policy 2005 under the leadership of BJP.
The political leaders said the amendments were aimed at providing political benefit to BJP in the assembly elections.
