Pakistan and Uzbekistan are bound in historical, religious and regional ties. Pakistan is like a bridge between Central Asia and South Asia. Pakistan and Azerbaijan have good relations since ever. PM’s visit will further cement these relations.

Prime Minister’s visit will increase bilateral ties as his meetings with Uzbek leadership will focus on regional connectivity, political stability. Pakistan’s stance on Afghanistan is based on principal as Pakistan supported Afghanistan on almost all international forums. Afghanistan must come up to Doha accord and not allow Afghan soil be used against Pakistan. Afghanistan must stop anti-Pakistan activities from Afghan side. Visit of PM to Uzbekistan and Azerbaijan will also allow neighbours of Afghanistan to formulate a regional policy. Azerbaijan’s investment commitment in Pakistan reflects international community’s trust on policies of our government.
