Gilgit Baltistan Government after the approval from Federal Government has upgraded pay scales of about six thousand employees. According to a notification of Services Department scale of  202 Assistant Sub Inspectors has  been upgraded from 9 to 11.

 Similarly, scale of 692 Head constables is upgraded from 7 to 9 ,  4911 policemen  from 5 to 7  and  193 Jail staff  from 5 to 7 grade. The up gradation order will be effective from 1st April 2019.
