The death toll in the Quetta tragic incident has risen to thirty-one while seventy other people including police personnel were injured in the attack.   

SSP Operations Quetta Police Naseebullah Khan told our correspondent that the suicide bomber wanted to hit SHO Malik Hameed. 

The SSP added that DIG Quetta Abdul Razzaq Cheema and Malik Hameed remained unhurt in the attack.

Despite suicide bomb attack near polling station set up at Tameer-i-Nau Educational Complex polling is still continuing at the polling station. 

The Spokesman of Provincial Election Commission Balochistan Ghous Baksh told our Quetta correspondent that the polling was not stopped despite deadly bomb attack.

Meanwhile, Caretaker Prime Minister Nasir-ul-Mulk and Caretaker Chief Minster Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Dost Muhammad Khan have condemned the Quetta blast.
