In Afghanistan, twelve people were killed and several others injured in three bomb blasts in the capital Kabul on Thursday morning.
Officials said five people were killed and ten others injured in a bomb blast hitting a bus carrying government employees.
Seven people were killed and more than twenty others wounded in the second explosion.
The third blast happened when a car was blown up by unknown militants. The death toll is likely to rise from all the three blasts.
No militant group has claimed responsibility for the attacks.
