Minister for Petroleum Dr Musadik Malik has said the Parliament has the prerogative and responsibility to bring clarity to unclear constitutional provisions through amendments. 

Talking to a private news channel, he said in the current circumstances, amendments are mandatory to keep the country on the right path.

Commenting on Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf style of politics, he said PTI has a track record of challenging the state writ and attacking the institutions. The Minister said federal government has the right to stop such mobs to protect the country from the security risk.
