In Balochistan, a police head constable Muhammad Hashim guarding the polio team was martyred by unknown gunmen at Kili tharata in District Pishin on Tuesday.

Chief Minister Balochistan Mir Abdul Quddus Bizenjo while taking the notice of the firing incident has sought report from concerned officials.

Meanwhile, Federal Minister for National Health Services, Abdul Qadir Patel has strongly condemned the attack on security personnel.

In a message, Patel paid homage to the policeman who was martyred in the attack.

He extended heartfelt sympathies and condolences to the bereaved family members of the martyr and said that the government equally shared their grief.
