Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) has appointed thirty-two Regional Election Commissioners (RECs) as Regional Monitoring Coordinators (RMCs) for next general elections.

According to an ECP spokesman, these coordinators underwent a one-day online training workshop covering the monitoring framework and setup of monitoring rooms at provincial, divisional and district levels.

He said that Regional Coordinators will oversee divisional monitoring and guide teams in their districts. After this training, they will train District Monitoring Officers and their teams.
