Minister for Information and Broadcasting, Attaullah Tarar, says majority of ICC Champions Trophy matches are being held in Pakistan, which will help promote Pakistan’s culture and tourism.

Talking to the media after the concluding ceremony of the final of the Pakistan Champions T20 Cup 2024 in Rawalpindi this evening, he said the foreign cricket teams will be given a warm reception in Pakistan.

The Minister urged the Pakistani spectators to come and demonstrate their passion for cricket by welcoming the visiting teams and supporting their favorite team and players. He expressed hope that the Pakistan team will put up a brilliant display of their game.

Answering a question, Attaullah Tarar made it clear that sports should be kept out of politics.
