Minister for Information and Broadcasting, Marriyum Aurangzeb has said that long march of Imran Khan was badly failed as people of Pakistan proved that they want politics of development and prosperity.

Talking to media persons outside the parliament in Islamabad on Thursday, she said that people yesterday witnessed the difference between disruptive and constructive politics.

She said Imran Khan staged this drama only to fail negotiations with the International Monetary Fund.

The Minister said that Imran Khan also committed contempt of the Supreme Court by directing his workers to reach D-Chowk.

Marriyum Aurangzeb said announcement of holding of general elections will only be announced by the government and its allies at stipulated time.

She said that Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif is working round the clock to bring countrymen out of the economic crisis.
