Dimuth Karunaratne and Dhananjaya de Silva have helped Sri Lanka extend the lead over 300 against Pakistan.
At stumps, Sri Lanka's score was at 176 of 5, with a lead of 323.
Karunaratne and de Silva are unbeaten on 27 and 30 respectively.
Earlier, Ramesh Mendis took five wickets against Pakistan for 231.
Pakistan's innings ended in the morning session after the tourists resumed the day on 191-7, in reply to Sri Lanka's first innings of 378.
