Minister of State for Interior Talal Chaudhry has said the rescue operation at the place of fire in PIMS was completed in the best possible manner.

Talking to the media persons at PIMS in Islamabad today, he said the rescue teams reached within six minutes at the hospital on receiving the information. He said nineteen people including seven children were rescued.  He said the Interior Minister personally monitored the rescue operation.

The Minister of State said that bodies of newborn babies have been handed over to bereaved families after proper identification.
