Talks between Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and President of the Republic of Belarus Aleksandr Lukashenko are underway in Islamabad.

They are holding discussion on areas of cooperation and engagement.

Earlier on arrival at the Prime Minister House, a formal welcome ceremony was held in honour of the visiting dignitary.

Anthems of both the countries were played.

A smartly turned out contingent of armed forces presented guard of honour to the visiting dignitary.
