Receiving of Hajj applications under the Government Scheme, through designated banks, is getting momentum.
Today, four thousand Hajj applications were received, bringing tally to twenty-four thousand, two hundred and sixty-six.
The deadline for submitting Hajj applications is the third of the next month, while the draw for the government Hajj Scheme will be held on 6th of the next month.
Applicants are required to deposit the first instalment of Hajj expenses, amounting to two hundred thousand rupees, along with their applications.
An additional four hundred thousand rupees must be deposited within ten days following the Hajj draw.
Five thousand seats have been reserved for the sponsorship scheme without any balloting.
