The death toll has risen to thirty-eight in tragic crash of an Azerbaijani airliner near Aktau, Kazakhstan.

Kazakh authorities said, the plane caught fire as it attempted to make an emergency landing due to fog.

The passenger plane was flying from Azerbaijan to Russia carrying sixty-nine people.
