The UN Security Council (UNSC) meets today to vote on a resolution calling for a special session of the General Assembly over the Russian invasion of Ukraine.

The meeting has been requested by the United States and Albania.

Meanwhile, tens of thousands of civilians have been fleeing Ukraine for Poland.
