Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Mahmood Khan has lauded the capabilities of police force to tackle the menace of terrorism.
Addressing the Passing-out Parade of Elite Police Force in district Nowshera on Wednesday, he said police force will be trained on scientific lines to further improve its performance.
The Chief Minister said Elite police is functioning in thirteen districts of the province at the moment, which will be extended to all districts.
Mahmood Khan announced five million rupees for police training center Nowshera. He also gave away awards to outstanding jawans of the elite force.
Our Peshawar correspondent Falak Niaz reports from Nowshera that more than four hundred and thirty elite force personnel completed the training.
The passing out jawans also demonstrated their professional skills.
