A Kashmiri delegation staged a protest outside the UN office in Geneva, condemning systematic human rights violations committed by Indian forces in Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK).

Highlighting the plight of Kashmiri people, the speakers said thousands of innocent Kashmiris have been subjected to third-degree torture in prisons, interrogation, and detention centers.

They said Indian government has remorselessly been using torture as an instrument to suppress Kashmiris’ legitimate struggle for right to self-determination.
