The second Foreign Ministerial meeting of Afghanistan’s neighbours plus Russia is being held in Tehran on Wednesday.

Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi will inaugurate the meeting.

According to spokesman for Iranian Foreign Ministry, Saeed Khatibzadeh, the foreign ministers of Pakistan, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan and Turkmenistan will take part in person while Chinese and Russian Foreign Ministers will attend the meeting online.

The UN Secretary General Antonio Guterres will also dispatch a message to the meeting.
