Fifteen people were killed and forty others injured in an armed attack on a religious shrine in the Shiraz city.

According to Iranian media, the attack, took place at the Shah Cheragh Shrine was carried out by three armed men.

Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi in his reaction has vowed to respond to the attack saying that it will not go unanswered.
