Israel has blocked humanitarian aid entering Gaza, leading to fears of food shortages in the Palestinian enclave.

Various countries, including Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Qatar and Jordan, have widely condemned Israel for this inhuman move. 

Meanwhile, United Nations and several Arab states have condemned Israel for blocking entry of all humanitarian aid into Gaza Strip.

In a statement, the UN Under-Secretary-General for Humanitarian Affairs, Tom Fletcher, describing it as alarming, has urged Israel to allow access to deliver vital lifesaving aid.

A Hamas spokesman has said that Israel's blockade is cheap blackmail and a "coup" against ceasefire agreement.
