Frontier Corps Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (South) organized a sports festival for youth in South Waziristan district.  

The festival will continue till Friday.      

More than 100 local sports teams of cricket, volleyball and football participated in the first phase of the festival from 1st to 22nd of this month.

In the second phase, which began on Thursday, tehsil level competitions are being held in different sports.

Apart from youth, large number of children and elderly people are enjoying this festival.

The third phase will be held at Wana, where apart from sports, there will be tug-of-war, circus, cultural performances and fairs.

The aim of this festival is to promote the trend of positive entertainment among the youth.
