Punjab Government has decided to manufacture agricultural equipment in Punjab under Agriculture Mechanization Policy.

The decision was made at a meeting in Lahore today presided over by Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif.

The meeting also decided to implement Agriculture Mechanization Policy in cooperation with China.

Speaking on the occasion, the Chief Minister said the Punjab Government will establish Punjab Kisan Bank for providing loans to farmers. She said farmers would be encouraged to cultivate canola, sesame, and soybean with an investment of over two billion rupees.
