Judges’ conference in Srinagar another attempt to mislead int’l community: Shabbir Shah

Incarcerated senior leader of All Parties Hurriyat Conference, Shabbir Ahmed Shah, has termed the Modi government’s move to host a conference of judges in Srinagar yet another attempt to mislead the international community on the ground situation of Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir.

According to Kashmir Media Service, Shabbir Ahmed Shah in his message from New Delhi’s Tihar jail said the Indian judiciary that has always been biased against Kashmir has no moral justification to hold such an even in the occupied territory.

Meanwhile, occupation authorities in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir have tightened the so-called security measures ahead of the annual Hindu pilgrimage Amarnath Yatra.

The 62-day-long annual pilgrimage is scheduled to start on July 01 and culminate on August 31.

The Indian government has already deployed over 60,000 additional paramilitary personnel across the occupied territory for the Yatra.

Pakistan’s Permanent Representative to the United Nations, Munir Akram, has paid rich tributes to the heroic struggle of the Kashmiri people for their right to self-determination.

According to Kashmir Media Service, Munir Akram in a message greeted the UN community and Muslim citizens on the occasion of Eid-ul Azha, which is being celebrated in many parts of the world, on Tuesday.

He said may this Eid bring peace and prosperity to our heroic brothers and sisters in Illegally Indian Occupied Jammu and Kashmir who are making enormous sacrifices to secure their freedom and the self-determination.
