In Somalia, at least twenty people have been killed and several others wounded in two separate bomb attacks in Shabelle region.

According to police, a suicide bomb attack took place in town of Marka killing 13 people, including the town’s mayor Abdullahi Ali Wafow, his security guards and other civilians. 

The Al-Shabaab terrorist group claimed responsibility for the attack.
