Higher Education Commission has announced a Scholarship Program for students of Gilgit-Baltistan.

According to an official of HEC, the applications have been invited from outstanding students of Gilgit-Baltistan who intend to pursue undergraduate studies from HEC recognized public sector universities/degree awarding institutions.

The applicants who are already availing any other scholarship are not eligible to apply while the maximum age limit is 22 years as on closing date of application submission.

About the scholarship program, the official revealed that the scholarship will cover tuition fee, hostel fee and other charges-maximum . 240,000 rupees per year, stipend of 15,000 rupees per month and books and traveling allowances of 30,000 rupees per annum.
