Pakistani and Kashmiri community organized protest demonstrations in South Africa on the occasion of Kashmir Black Day.
The protesters in front of Indian consulates at Johannesburg, Lenasia and in Richard Bay used loudspeakers to raise their concern over Indian brutalities in Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir.
A protest memorandum was also given to the consulate in Johannesburg.
Indian consulate at Johannesburg arranged loud music to counter the protest.
Meanwhile, the Kashmir Black Day was also observed in befitting manner in Canada to remind the world community of its duty of honouring its commitments made through various resolutions of the United Nations to ensure the right to self-determination to the people of Jammu and Kashmir.
Various events organized to mark Kashmir Black Day and condemn India's illegal occupation of Jammu and Kashmir included public demonstrations in Toronto, Vancouver and Montreal, holding webinars, pictorial exhibitions and public gatherings by various organisations.
Pakistan High Commission Canada played documentaries highlighting the background and significance of the Kashmir Black Day and read out the messages of President and the Prime Minister during a function in Ottawa.
