A delegation of All Parties Hurriyat Conference Azad Jammu and Kashmir chapter has submitted a memorandum to the UN office in Islamabad, urging international intervention in the Kashmir dispute.

The delegation, comprising Syed Faiz Naqshbandi, Shamim Shawl, Sheikh Abdul Matin, Zahid Safi and Imtiaz Wani, condemned India’s unilateral actions in Illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir.

The memorandum highlighted the unilateral annexation of Illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir.by India on August 5, 2019, revoking Article 370, deployment of 900,000 Indian troops and making life miserable for Kashmiris.

The delegation urged the UN Secretary-General to address the Kashmir dispute in accordance with UN resolutions.

Indian troops in their fresh act of state terrorism have martyred three Kashmiri youth in Jammu district of Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir.

According to Kashmir Media Service, the youth were martyred by the troops during a cordon and search operation in Aknoor area of the district.

Earlier, an Indian Army vehicle was attacked during a search operation in in Bhattal area of Khour in Akhnoor district.

According to Kashmir Media Service, Indian Army launched a cordon and search operation in the area this morning in the Akhnoor sector.

Indian Army has claimed the presence of some suspected persons in the area.

Officials said that a few gunshots were heard in the forward village when an Army vehicle was passing through.

Army troops along with the police have cordoned off the village and adjoining areas.
