Funeral prayer of Begum Shamim Akhtar, the mother of former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and President Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz Shehbaz Sharif was offered in Lahore on Saturday. 

A large number of people belonging to different walks of life and party leaders, workers attended the funeral prayer.
