Chairman Pakistan Ulema Council Hafiz Tahir Ashrafi has said that it is mandatory for Hajj and Umrah pilgrims to follow Saudi laws.

In a statement, he expressed deep regret over the incident in which a woman assaulted a Saudi official yesterday, calling it an extremely unfortunate act.

Tahir Ashrafi said that Saudi government is justified in taking action against violators of its laws.
