All Parties Hurriyat Conference-AJK Convener Mehmood Ahmed Saghar has strongly condemned Indian Home Minister Amit Shah's statement to intimidate and terrorize the Kashmiri people of Indian illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir.

In a statement today, he emphasized that Kashmiris have the inalienable right to pursue their careers and seek jobs in the public or private sector, and that India, as an occupier, has no authority to deprive them of these rights.    

Meanwhile, Kashmir Media Service in a reports on anniversary of gruesome Shopian incident, today said Justice continues to elude families of Shopian double rape and murder victims despite the passage of fifteen years.   

It said the victims Aasiya and Neelofar were abducted and subsequently killed by the men in uniform in Shopian and their bodies were found from a nullah on the intervening night of 29th and 30th May 2009. 

The victims' family, having lost faith in Indian institutions, seeks justice from independent international forums.

In another shocking incident, Indian army stormed a police station in Kupwara district, brutally beating police officers and personnel who were investigating a case of army high-handedness in the district.

The incident has drawn widespread condemnation from human rights groups and political leaders in the territory.
