Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar says Water policy in Punjab and Punjab Water Act 2019 are important steps taken by the PTI government.

In a statement on Monday, he said that Daducha Dam will be constructed for provision of clean drinking water for the people of Rawalpindi. He said that a dam will also be constructed for the people of Chakwal.

The Chief Minister said that extension of Islam Barrage on the Satluj River will be carried out which would provide water to ten hundred thousand acres land.

Usman Buzdar said that up-gradation work is being carried out at Panjnad, Taraimoon Barrages and the Grater Thal Canal is being constructed speedily.
