Sikhs for Justice organize referendum in Calgary, Canada for Khalistan

Sikhs for Justice organized a referendum in Calgary, Canada for the establishment of Khalistan.

Despite Indian efforts to halt the referendum, thousands of Sikhs turned out to vote in Calgary.

There are about one million Sikhs in Canada and over one hundred thousand in Calgary.

On the occasion, the Sikh voters raised slogans in support of establishment of Khalistan.

Speaking on the occasion, they expressed their firm resolve to Sikh movement for Khalistan.  They said India can do nothing to stop it.

They strongly condemned Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi's actions saying he is is an enemy of Muslims, Sikhs and other minorities. They said we  want independence from India not through war but through democratic process.

New York attorney and founder of Sikhs For Justice (SFJ) Gurpatwant Singh Pannun said we expect the Canadian govt to prosecute Indian diplomats, including High Commissioner Sanjay Verma,  for the planning and killing of Hardeep Singh Nijjar. He said SFJ’s choice of weapon is vote while India’s Modi is using violence to stop Khalistan Referendum.

The Khalistan Referendum voting started on October 31, 2021 from London has so far been held in several countries.
