The All Parties Hurriyat Conference has urged the Kashmiri people to pay glowing tribute to veteran resistance leader Syed Ali Gilani on his martyrdom anniversary on Tuesday.

In a statement, APHC spokesman Advocate Abdul Rashid Minhas urged Kashmiris to visit the late leader's grave and pay rich tribute to his unparalleled services to the Kashmir cause.

The spokesperson described Syed Ali Gilani as a leader of iron resolve who bravely resisted Indian repression.

Meanwhile, Indian forces have launched a search operation in Mendhar along the Line of Control in Poonch district.

According to Kashmir Media Service, such steps are aimed at punishing Kashmiris for challenging the illegal Indian occupation and demanding their right to self-determination.
