Chairman of the US Joint Chiefs of Staff, Gen Mark Milley says it is a strategic failure with Taliban back in power and America withdrawal from Afghanistan.

Speaking during the Senate hearing, Mark Milley, alongside Secretary of Defence Lloyd Austin and US Central Command head Gen Kenneth McKenzie, testified for the first time since America ended its longest war in Afghanistan.

Mark Milley said that the sudden collapse of the Afghan military was beyond its expectation.
