Security crisis has deepened in Afghanistan as anti-Taliban resistance forces intensify armed operations.

The anti-Taliban armed group, Afghanistan Freedom Front (AFF), has claimed the responsibility of an attack in Faizabad, the capital of Badakhshan province.

According to the AFF, its fighters targeted a vehicle carrying Taliban personnel near the Department of Mines, killing three Taliban members and injuring two others.

No AFF fighters were harmed during the operation and all of them successfully moved to a safe location.
