China has firmly opposed India's double standards on counter terrorism.

Replying to a question about Indian involvement in terrorist activities in the region particularly in Balochistan, Chinese Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Mao Ning expressed her grave concerns on these activities and strongly condemned it. She said terrorism is the common enemy of humanity and China firmly opposes double standards on counterterrorism.

The Spokesperson said to support and use terrorist groups and let them thrive out of one's selfish interests at the expense of international and regional security benefits no one and will only backfire. She warned that strict response would be given to those who back the terrorist groups.

Mao Ning said China stands for strengthening counterterrorism cooperation among all countries to jointly fight all forms of terrorism.

It is pertinent to mention here that the United States of America and Canada have also raised the issue of involvement of Indian government and its spy agency RAW in terrorist activities in other countries.
