In occupied Kashmir, Hurriyat leader and the Jammu and Kashmir People’s League Chairman, Mukhtar Ahmad Waza has stressed the need for peaceful political settlement of Kashmir dispute.

Talking at Peerbagh, Hyderpora he said as long as Kashmir dispute is not resolved in accordance with the aspirations of Kashmiri people, peace in South Asia will remain a dream.

Meanwhile, Hurriyat leader Javaid Ahmad Mir in a statement in Srinagar said that Kashmir is an internationally recognized dispute and its peaceful settlement is pre-requisite for bringing progress and prosperity in the region.
