Minister for National Food Security Syed Fakhar Imam has stressed the need of following the international best practices for sustained food security in Pakistan.

He was addressing an international webinar in Karachi on "Global best practices experience sharing and preparedness for response to desert locust attacks in future". 

The webinar was jointly arranged by Ministry of National Food Security and Research, Asian Development Bank and Centre for Agriculture and Bio-sciences International.

Fakhar Imam highlighted the key steps taken by federal government during and after the locust attack in Pakistan.
