KP Govt allocates Rs106bln for higher education

The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government has allocated one-hundred and six billion rupees for eighty-six projects of higher education in the province.

According to details, the project includes the establishment of nine universities at a cost of twenty-four billion rupees.

Similarly, seven sub campuses of universities will also be established in Mardan, Buner, Shangla, Dera Ismail Khan, Hangu, Dir Lower and Dir Upper at a cost of twenty-four billion rupees.

On completion of these projects, it will provide state of the art higher educational facilities to far flung areas of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
