In occupied Kashmir, dozens of clashes erupted as a delegation of mostly far right European lawmakers paid a visit to the disputed region that was stripped of its autonomy in August.

With a curfew in many parts of the main city Srinagar, police fired tear gas and shot guns pellets as around forty demonstrations flared across the occupied Kashmir Valley.

Many people were injured in firing by Indian troops on peaceful protesters.

The European lawmakers were not allowed to meet any person from general public and political parties.
