Saudi Arabia has ordered the Lebanese ambassador to leave the country and banned all Lebanese imports in response to comments made by Lebanese Information minister about the Saudi-led military intervention in Yemen.

Saudi Arabia has also recalled its ambassador to Lebanon.

The diplomatic rift throws Lebanon's government into further crisis as it tries to rally Arab support for its ailing economy.
